In life, I think we all yearn to find our niche, the thing that makes us feel alive. Remembering the feeling of the sun on our faces the first day of spring. holding the hand of someone you treasure more than life, laughing so hard your stomach hurts, or the one song that brings back fond memories and ignites a feeling of warmth and love inside you. This sense of being alive is what I feel every time I pick up my camera. I shoot from the heart in all facets and angles in life and in camera.

As a kid, I loved dressing up and playing with jewelry and makeup. Little did I know, that love would one day turn me toward photography. I had done some modeling/fashion in college and became interested in photography through a best friend and fellow photographer. One day she let me tag along and use her camera to see what I thought. From that day on, I had fallen in love with photography and the way it put a mirror to humanity and relationships.

I love the details in life, creating something out of nothing. Digging deep within to portray the intimate thoughts between couples, exude the beauty far beyond skin deep, and the attitude and flare we all individually possess is the essence of my photography. Nothing is more beautiful than an honest, candid moment or emotion. I did not originally set out to do photography, it sort of fell into place as I believe much of our lives do. It has become an intricate outlet of expression giving transparency to my own thoughts, feelings, desires, and love.

I am the girl that loves a good quote.

I am the girl that will sit and talk to an 80 year old man for hours, just because he has such amazing stories to tell.

I am the girl that thinks it is dumb when people say that is not reality...I say your reality or mine?It is all perspective.

I am the girl thinks it is never too late for coffee.

I am the girl that is goofy, animated, and full of passion.

I am the girl that is a hopeless romantic and cries at weddings when the oldest couple is still genuinely in love, dancing together, and holding hands after 60 years.

Everyone has a history and a story to tell. Each story is extraordinary and fascinating in my eyes. Often in the rush of life, we miss documenting the highlights of our own stories or of those we love. I want to give you photos that truly reflect the rawness in your story, not a cheesy cover up when the reality is more beautiful. As a photographer, there is nothing more rewarding to me than being a hidden part in your story shedding light on it all!! For all of you reading this, I hope to be lucky enough to intertwine our own stories.
